About Micro System Workshop

MSW is a meeting place for all those interested in Microsystems technology in Scandinavia. The conference has been held six times since it started in Uppsala, 1994. One of the workshop’s key features is the informal atmosphere where room is provided for discussion and networking. MSW 2008 was organized in Gothenburg by Imego and minST in cooperation with MC2, Chalmers. At MSW 2008 the field was divided into four areas:

• MEMS
• Bio-MEMS
• Innovation
• Nanotechnology

MSW is intended not only for those working actively in the area, but equally well for those in both industry and academy that have a general interest in MEMS/MST.
